Privacy policy
The French version is the legally binding one. This page is a translation made for your convenience: read the French original.
Version of 31 October 2026. In plain words: what this site keeps, where, and what it does not do.
1. Who is responsible
Jessy EULLIOT, sole trader, trading as Synaptron (see the legal notice). For any question about your data: [email protected] (email address).
2. What stays on your device
The site keeps your progress in your own browser (local storage): circuits solved, stars, your progress in Bit's Journey, your streak in the daily challenge, the jigsaw puzzles you started, your settings, and the Pass key if you have one. None of this is sent to us: we can neither see it nor recover it. If you clear the site's data in your browser, your progress disappears; it is not shared between two devices.
The installable app caches pages and images so you can play offline, again on your device.
3. What the site does not do
No cookies, no trackers, no advertising, no social-network button that follows you. There are two measurements, both without cookies or identifiers: a visit statistic (Cloudflare Web Analytics): number of visits and page views, country, browser, never who you are; and a small counter of our own, which records the page viewed, where the visit came from (the referring site, or the short code at the end of a link we posted), the country, and clicks on a buy button. It never stores your IP address. To link a click on a buy button to the link that brought you, the tab you are reading in remembers where your visit came from until you close it (session storage, keys “stats-e”, “stats-s”, “stats-r”). The “Share” buttons only send the text of your score, and only if you decide to.
4. Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare (United States, with servers in Europe). Like any host, Cloudflare sees the IP address of your connection in its technical logs, to run the service and protect it from attacks. We do nothing else with it. The services we use (Cloudflare, Payhip, Stripe, Discord) may process your data outside the European Union, under their own safeguards.
5. Purchases
Payments go through Payhip (and its payment provider, Stripe). Payhip collects your email address and payment data under its own policy; we receive your email address, your country and the details of the order, to deliver your files and answer your requests. No newsletter without your consent. We keep order data for 10 ans for accounting. The Pass key is checked by a small function of the site that queries Payhip; it is then kept on your device.
6. The Discord server
Joining our Discord is optional. What happens there (username, messages) is governed by Discord and its rules; we collect nothing there other than what you write.
7. Minors
The game is played without an account and without signing up: we ask for no name, no age, no address. A purchase is made with a parent's consent.
8. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection: write to us at the address above, and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority. For data held by Payhip or Discord, also contact them.
